Radio Control Car Racing

Students who take R.C. car racing classes learn how to operate and decorate a car while building tracks out of various materials including cardboard and duct tape.  Each day they rebuild the track, make new obstacles, and invent original racing games.  What are the academic links?  They are in fact developing their hand-eye coordination and learning about geometry through the track’s construction, design through car decoration, working in teams to race and assemble each new track, and following racing rules which are continually revised.
